Report to: Benefits Advisor
Objective and Scope:
Reporting to the Benefits Advisor, the service manager – benefits & pension provides a high level of administrative support and coordination to manage the benefits & pension team's day-to-day workflow. The service manager also plays an integral role in engaging new and existing clients, managing client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
• First point of contact for all client, prospect, and plan administrator inquiries.
• Provide regular administrative support by creating and prepping brochures, plan summaries, employee meeting presentations, marketing materials, and other required documents.
• Assist in processing client documentation, including group benefit applications, amendments, employee and pension enrollment, etc.
• Assist with various projects as required and actively participate in various meetings, providing support and information.
• Maintain multiple CRM systems to ensure data integrity for client and prospect information
• Keep abreast of industry changes.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
• Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate In Business or administration
• 3 plus years in a client service administrative role. Experience in group benefits and pension is ideal.
• Intermediate-level technical proficiency, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel.
